Oh My God -- why didn't I google these idiots first:

This page displays the ENTIRE Gmail thread of emails between me, and Postnet.com

I will point out the lies within those emails

My advice? Run as fast and as far as you can from this gaggle of scammers..

All emails have now been CC'd to the website. The formatting that got carried over from the Gmail was a disaster. I tried to straighten it out on the HTML page but could not. I resorted to stripping it down to plain text, then inserting that here. I am inserting explanatory text amongst the emails, shown in non-italics:

I went into this transaction working under the understanding that "these types of services" were inherently sleazy -- like dirty, back-alley pawn shops, pool halls and old-time tattoo parlors (I used to be a tattoo instructor, so I'm not bashing the tattoo industry as a whole, but I know what many or most old-school parlors were like and they weren't always, well, wholesome. Hell, many still aren't). --Barely above a Bangkok massage parlor-- that's how I saw them. In any case, I came to this service and this company pre-ticked-off a little. I knew, I KNEW it would go badly. And how did it go? How did it go? Seriously, HOW DID IT GO?

TO POSTNET:
I haven't even finished setting up the account and already there's a problem.
You did NOT advise that only the following IDs are acceptable before you took my money:
- Valid driver’s license or state non-driver’s identification card
- Recognized corporate ID (your work ID)
- Student ID
- Passport, alien registration card (green card), certificate of naturalization
- Current lease, mortgage, or deed of trust
- Voter or vehicle registration card
- Home, health, or vehicle insurance policy
Here's my situation:
I travel extensively. I only come back to the USA occasionally (once every few years). My son lives at the Reno address I entered. He currently handles my mail, but it's an inconvenience to him, which is why I wanted this box with you. I do not rent my son's house, nor am I on his lease. I have a home in Thailand that I use as a base in SE Asia.
I can supply a valid US passport
I can supply a valid driver license from Washington state (it expires 12-24-2018)
I cannot supply any other docs on your list except docs from Thailand
It would seem I cannot qualify to use your box. The ID required should have been detailed BEFORE signing me up and BEFORE taking my money.
We have two choices at this point:
You can provide some alternative to get me signed up, or
You can refund my money and delete out my account.
I KNEW this wouldn't go smoothly. It never, ever does when attempting to deal with services like this. It's usually a bloody nightmare, which is how I expect this one to turn out.
I await your reply,

I will look into this and get back to you tomorrow

TO ME:
From: Renee Barnett <renee.barnett@postnet.com>

We appreciate your interest and application for Anytime virtual mailbox service.
The acceptable identification list, 1583 form and notary requirements outlined during the application process are government regulations. All postal service providers, for virtually and physical mailboxes, are subject to these regulations.
We would suggest you submit your passport as your primary form of identification and one of your Thailand items listed below as your secondary. It is not uncommon for people with similar travel and residency situations to utilize virtual mailbox services.
Anytime Mailbox is the entity that actually approves applications in order to insure consistent adherence to the government regulations. After approval, we at PostNet will manage your mail as you requested through the Online app. You can contact Anytime at 1-866-444-8417 for additional assistance if you need it to submit your identifications.
I hope this has been helpful to you and we look forward to serving you.

TO POSTNET:
I have completed the Notary BS at a stunning cost of $80. Had I known that would be the cost, and that the process would be a royal PITA, I never, never would have started this. Let us pray it goes smoothly from here on because I'm at my BS limit.

I think it was $85 but no matter -- it was an absurd, ludicrous price for a notary and I was not advised of the price until the service had been rendered. The process was ludicrous. I wonder what the kickback is to Postnet. I see this as completely scammy. You can find people all over the Internet bristling strongly at this dirty little trick. Everyone is sick of it.

TO ME:
Congratulations! Your digital mailbox has been activated. Your address is:
Services are provided by our premier partner PostNet of Carson City.

TO POSTNET:
I have an account with you as follows:
I wanted to log in today but for the life of me, I can't find a place to login. I've searched your .com site, and your Farcebook site. I can find NO button and NO option to log in to my account. I simply want to update my billing data. Please provide a link to a page that allows me to login. I've searched for 25 minutes. That's enough.

There was no reply. I eventually found the login page by going to an alternate URL -- NOT the main page.

TO POSTNET:
I've only been with you a month and already encountering numerous problems. Is this what it will be like with you always? You locked me out of my account due to an invalid credit card. I checked the card and how it was entered into your payment system. It was absolutely, 100% accurate and correct. The card is working; I use it every single day. I finally entered a different card and that worked. But why the problem? Why?

My card (same card) had been successfully charged previously by both PostNet (or Anytime) and also by the notary. There was $5000 remaining on it. I saw this problem as yet another indication this was a fly-by-night "service" that I should never have gotten involved with and which was going to cause me grief every single month. I was becoming "significantly testy". I only discovered this when I was looking for the box to check to change my plan to annual -- which doesn't exist.

TO ME:
We were unable to charge your credit card on file for the current open balance of $13.53. Your service is currently suspended and you will not have access to your mail until you pay your open balance in full. If you do not pay your open balance in a timely manner your services may be permanently terminated. Please update your credit card to avoid disruption and possible termination of services. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding this matter.

Well, wonderful. So all my mail was piling up, not being processed, or was it? --Or maybe it was all being sent back, marked non-deliverable, or addressee not here? For how long? I couldn't log in to see my mail because the credit card snafu prevented login(!!), so I had to assume it wasn't being processed. This was BS. This was exactly what I was afraid of from the get-go. It was unacceptable. It was more BS piling up on more BS, and my testy-factor was rising by the hour. I changed cards and the charge went through, but for an amount I didn't expect. I fired off the following:

TO POSTNET:
Unfortunately, when you processed that other card, you charged it $13 and change. I thought the subscription amount was muss less. But now it's $13 and change? You increased the price since I enrolled a lousy month ago?
Next problem: I have tried several times to change my billing from monthly, to yearly. But each time I get an error saying to contact you to change the plan. Seriously? You want to make it difficult for people to give you MORE money? Really? Is this company just plain nuts? Howe can I change the plan? It should be a matter of clicking a box and saying OK. It should not involve some long, convoluted process with real humans having to do it. Again, is this company just plain nuts?

I didn't want to go through the billing nonsense every single month, so I sent the above request to change the billing plan. Note that even at this early stage, my request is to change my BILLING plan. Later, Lauren A. will try to say she didn't understand my request.

To me, from heidi.oneal
Hope this email finds you well!
We would like to inform you that we collected a total amount of $13.53 for your February invoice which includes your monthly base fee amounting to $9.99 plus $3.54 for your January invoice that we weren't able to collect previously.
If you still have further questions regarding this, you may contact us at 1-866-444-8417.
Best Regards,
Anytime Mailbox Team

Ok. The charge was correct and fair enough. These things happen. The credit card problem was behind us. But I still needed to change my billing to annual so we didn't go through foolishness like this every month. I needed R-E-L-I-A-B-L-E mail service, but I don't think that's part of their vocabulary. Zero reply to address the change of billing plan issue. Nothing. This was beginning to confirm my suspicions -- namely, that I had chosen very, very poorly when I signed up with this outfit. The simplest of communications were being screwed up or ignored. At this point it's safe to say I was beyond miffed or ticked or peeved. I was getting slightly angry.

TO POSTNET:
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately it does not answer the question I asked.
I will ask again.
How can I change my plan from monthly billing to annual billing.
Please answer the question that is asked.

Again no reply.

TO POSTNET:
I'm sorry that you refuse to answer the question I have asked you TWO TIMES. Here it is for the THIRD TIME:
How can I change my plan so that it is billed yearly?
If you refuse to answer again, I will file with the Better Business Bureau.
I am herewith asking for the name and contact for your boss.
If you refuse to supply contact for your boss, I will find him/her and show them this email.
I need more professionalism than you have shown thus far.

No reply. So I cut and pasted the original question and sent it again. I only wanted to GIVE THEM MORE MONEY. I wanted to pay by the YEAR, and not by the MONTH.

I received no reply. Every email in this thread is here -- you can see there were NO REPLIES to this question.

TO POSTNET:
My third request to you was ignored.
I am now filing against you in the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Affairs division of the Nevada Attorney General.
You are a real piece of work.

No reply.

We have replied to you extensively twice via email. If you would like to contact me via telephone 775-721-8515. We have done everything in our power to help you and will provide both the Nevada AG and BBB with these extensive explanations that we have provided you with. We will have your account moved to a different vendor as soon as possible as you seem to be unable to receive or understand our communications.
Thank you,

It's extremely difficult to call out from the jungle here, except on those days I can get to a small village and get a clear signal at the temple (a fine justification for buying a Sat Phone), and, honestly, I was beginning to have a gut feeling that every single interaction with these amazing boobs would be better kept in writing. I could feel the craziness coming. To wit: Lauren A. Chamberlain is now saying Postnet replied to me "extensively, TWO TIMES". No, in fact they DID NOT. Again, all emails in the thread are shown here. There was no reply. Was Lauren lying? Or did some other employee tell her they had replied, when they had not? We'll probably never know, short of a polygraph, but it is a fact that I received no reply because no reply to this question exists in the email string. I saw this as final proof that I was dealing with imbeciles -- exactly what I had expected when I signed up. And now, due to THEIR stupidity and refusal to answer a simple question or to tick a box that bills me annually instead of monthly -- because of THEIR refusal to do these dog-simple, excruciatingly easy things, they were going to shut down my service? A service they had been paid for already? I had spent hours updating my new Postnet address to all my contacts around the world. I changed my address with every bank and financial institution, with all the orphanages I work with, to all my family and friends, to all the contacts I had cultivated over a damned LIFETIME, and now, suddenly, this shitty outfit was canceling my address, so that any and all mail sent to me was going to be returned, or, more probably just thrown away? No sir. I would not stand for that crap. No one would except, perhaps, Gandhi. But I persisted in my stupidity, still thinking that reason would prevail, that these imbeciles would see their error, apologize, and correct it, so that all would be well with the world:

TO POSTNET:
You replied ONCE and did not mention the change if plan issue and i think you know that’s true. All replies are contained in the original gmail thread. There is only one.

At this point anger got the better of me. I was beginning to realize that this outfit was every bit as crappy and unprofessional as I had feared they might be. Heck, they were even worse than I imagined. Now I was even angrier:

TO POSTNET:
If you do something that causes me to lose that address, which i have now propagated to all my business interests around the world, i will simply sue you. You coukd have handled this simply and quickly by merely helping menchange to an annual plan. I don’t know wherenyou sent your replies, but they do not appear in the gmail thread. I don’t helieve you sent them at all.

TO ME:
As I stated before you will be changed to a different vendor tomorrow. I do not like being threatened and to state that we have been non-responsive to you is shear folly. You are not understanding what we are trying to explain to you. Perhaps a different vendor can help you understand. We will notify you of your change in vendor as soon as it takes place.

I am not understanding what they are "trying to explain to me"? WHAT!?!? They were not explaining ANYTHING to me! They are NOT ANSWERING THE ORIGINAL QUESTION FROM A WEEK OR TWO PRIOR!!!! My anger ramped up even higher. This was bloody outrageous. How in God's name could these people even find their ways home at night? When they pee, do they even p;possess the competency to hit the toilet? Seriously! For God's sake, this was beginning to feel like the Twilight Zone. It really was.

TO ME:
I have the right to refuse business to anyone who puts my business at risk for no good reason. It’s in the contract. You are threatening my companies good name and standing. I have every right to refuse service to you. I will not do business with people who frankly seem hell bent on taking someone down for no fault of our own. We have and did everything possible to make you understand the situation. That is all we can do. Again first thing in the morning I will contact Anytime and make them aware you are not welcome to be a customer of our great and upstanding business.

No, YOU are threatening your company's name and good standing and "putting your business at risk". YOU, Lauren, NOT OTHER PEOPLE! You sound like Hillary Clinton! You, Lauren, not me! You are doing this to yourselves! You did everything possible to make me understand the situation? WHAT!? No! You've done NOTHING! Who in God's name are you sending these invisible explanations to? NOT ME!! Now I had reached the end of my patience. Court is like war. It's ugly, messy, stupid and expensive, and there's no way to know who will win. It's almost like flipping a coin. So let's go to war. Lauren thinks she has the right to refuse service to anyone at her whim. She is profoundly mistaken in this, and so many other things..

TO POSTNET:
So be it.
Let's go to war.
But remember, all I wanted to do was change my plan.
I will begin a web page dedicated to this experience NOW.
I will send you the URL in about 30 minutes.

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME, February 14, 2019:
Here's your URL
http://www.truth-or-consequences.com/badder_business_bureau/postnet_mailboxes/index.shtml
Enjoy it.
It will remain posted for the rest of your life.

TO ME:
Sir:
This is not war it is business. We tried to help you as best as we could. All you have done is threaten us. You unnecessarily slander my business and you will be on the end of a lawsuit yourself. I suggest you spend your energies on understanding that you plan did not change. Rereading the email that explains everything in minute detail because we could tell you were not understanding. Put your reading glasses on and go over the email you received exposing every aspect of your account. Please make sure to put on your website that you will soon no longer be a customer of mine.
Sincerely,
Lauren A Chamberlain

Above: Insanity. I still wonder if some employee of hers, suddenly realizing that this was becoming a hot issue, and realizing that s/he had never responded to my repeated inquiries, simply made up some kind of response that was never sent. Or, is Lauren A. Chamberlain the liar? Someone is. Or maybe, just maybe, Gmail took it upon themselves to remove those, and only those emails. Sure. That must be it. And space aliens helped.

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME:
Go for it. Sue away.
All I wanted to do was change my plan.
Remember that.

TO ME:
I do not see anywhere where you request to change your plan?

Ok, now it's becoming comical. How does one even respond to something so outrageously retarded. She does not see anyplace where I asked to change my billing plan? Seriously? If she does not believe I ever asked to change my billing plan, then why is she so adamant that I was given instructions on how to do it?? If I never asked, then why is Lauren saying they answered? Why would they answer a question that was never asked? And answered it TWICE, in "minute detail". Clearly, something was rotten in Denmark. Clearly, these specimens were just making this up as they went along. I call that LYING, and it's dumb lying, because the truth would have gotten them out of this..

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME:
As you so crudely told me, put on your reading glasses and READ!
Taken straight from this very email, here is the relevant text:
"Next problem: I have tried several times to change my billing from monthly, to yearly. Again, is this company just plain nuts?"

TO ME:
Now I understand you mean change your billing not your plan. That is why I did not see anything about you changing your plan. Tomorrow once you are moved to the new vendor we will also advise you how to change you BILLING payment method.
Good Night,
Lauren A Chamberlain
PostNet NV187

Look back through the emails; I clearly stated BILLING.
Lauren says, "Once I am moved to a new vendor".
Remember that. She has stated it repeatedly throughout this nightmare.

TO ME:
I wanted to clarify your address will be changing with your new vendor. Lauren

Again -- a reference to my "new vendor". At this point it was all-on. You can't expect any customer on earth to put up with this insanity.

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME:
I will send you a bill for the time it takes me to change this address all around the world.
You will refuse to pay it.
I will file suit against you.
Believe it.
Watch your web page for developments.
You are really something, and the public will see that as well.
Good night.

TO ME:
You state in your previous email of canceling your service and wanting a refund so it obviously is not going to cause you any further discomfort having to change your address than what you have suggested doing yourself. The reason you are having your address changed is because of your behavior. We have been trying to help you and you spit in our face turn after turn. Send the bill to yourself as you are an unrelenting bully. Lauren

What in God's name is THIS? I state in my previous email that I was canceling my service anyway? Are you mad? Yes, she is! Again, Lauren is either LYING (which is what I believe), or some employee is making up emails that were never sent, by me, or by them, or both. I never said any such thing.

TO POSTNET:
I stated no such thing. So you are also a liar? Do you not understandnthat every email will be posted publixly? Check your web oage. It’s growing. Tell your woes to the judge.

TO ME:
P.S. remember only the truth no slanderous lies or exaggerations.

Huh?! What in THE Hell..... At this juncture I concluded that this woman, Lauren A. Chamberlain, was completely off her meds. I believed she should be institutionalized immediately. I saw her as a habitual liar, someone who would lie when the truth would serve her better. I saw her as a scam artist and a fool -- someone who had no business being in business -- ANY business, and that included lemonade stands. I saw this woman as perhaps even criminally bent. I saw her as a fraud, engaging in fraud. I saw her as a few steps down from worthless; I saw her as a negative value in American society. I'd had enough. I didn't want to ever hear from any of these twerps again, because they made no sense whatsoever. They were apparently outrightly (I hope that's a word because I like it) making up stories to try to cover their own mistakes and asses. I found it disgusting and I wanted the communication to cease. Stop. Fini. NO MORE. Not one more idiotic message. She was welcome to present this nonsense to a judge, but not to me.

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME:
I don't know what you think you're accomplishing by emailing again and again with absurd arguments. I DON'T CARE.
You still have an opportunity to get yourself out of this.
Simply say this:
"I am sorry you were unable to change your billing plan to an annual one.
I will take care of that now and charge your card for one year. Have a nice day."
In response I would say, "Thank you."
That's all you ever needed to do or say. Instead you took another route.
If you care to send the above line -- nothing less, nothing more -- I will report on your page that you have settled the matter amicably and the page will receive no further updates.
If you do not wish to settle the matter in this manner I will continue with the page as new data becomes available, as new developments occur, and as I see fit to warn other consumers about your business.
It's entirely up to you.
But there is no need to contact me again except to send the line above, or to advise me of the new address.
Any other contact will be considered instances of criminal harassment and will be dealt with as such.
I work with orphans down here on the Cambodia border. God knows I have a lot, lot, LOT of free time.

But the threat of criminal proceedings for criminal harassment never deters one such as Lauren A. Chamberlain, aka The Smartest Person in Any Room. She's like the Energizer Rabbit -- she just keeps going and going and going -- and each and every instance is criminally prosecutable.

TO ME:
We did advise you as to what to do about the billing plan change in the email from Heidi on Feb. 11, 2019 at 12:16 p.m.
"I understand you want to change your billing plan from monthly to yearly. Please send your request to: support@anytimemailbox.com
Please put CHANGE PLAN in the title of the email. Please be specific about what day you want the payment made on and what card you want to use. If it is the card on file already, just let them know."
You obviously followed our instructions because in your above email you know exactly what you need to do to change your billing plan. I will not be complying with your demand to write any statement. Sir, I do not let anyone bully me period end of story. I believe we went above and beyond trying to help you but your bullying and threatening demeanor cannot be tolerated by anyone let alone myself and my staff.

There was NO incoming email to me on Feb. 10, 11, or 12, 2019. Not a single email from ANYONE, not even my family or friends, dogs or cats. Not even Spam. Had they actually sent the above instructions in the first place, or at almost any other point, I would have said, "Thank you!" And I would have followed those instructions, and presumably the billing term would have been changed, and all would have been well with the world. BUT THEY DID NOT. This is THE FIRST TIME I have seen those instructions, and of course now it's far too late. I don't believe they ever sent any instruction like that. I think now, realizing that they didn't, they simply made this up. I think they are lying. I believe they are liars. It's abject lunacy. The lies are real; but I want to know specifically who's lying. Is it Lauren? Or is someone lying to her and causing her to make a fool of herself? She says I "must" have received the instruction because I "obviously knew exactly what I needed to do to change my billing plan". WTF! If I knew what to do to change my billing plan I WOULD HAVE DONE IT! This is like arguing with a teenager. Man says, "Hey, your motorcycle ran that red light and broadsided my car and I have video!" Kid says, "Hey! Your hair is ugly, therefore I don't have to pay you anything! Read the law man!" It reminds me of a particular political party's logic.

TO ME:
I have removed you as a customer of ours and Anytime Mailbox. You can contact them at the above email address for any questions you have about what to do now as you do not have a virtual mailbox with us.

Ah....so now we have it. She LIED AGAIN when she said she was moving me to another vendor. My rental money was gone. My $85 for THEIR notary was gone. I had NO box. Lauren A. Chamberlain had lied. Again. Sterling human being. Actually, the scum of the earth. I. Don't. Like. Liars.

TO ME:
I wish you the best of luck. Please concentrate on the work you do with the children of Cambodia. I am not sure that spending your time bullying a business who is trying to help you is the most charitable use of your time but I digress...
Sincerely,

Criminal harassment over and over and over. This broad is some piece of work. She just wouldn't quit. She was told to cease and desist or face a criminal complaint of harassment, yet she just wouldn't quit.

You are simply a liar. You did NOT advise me on changing the billing.
Please continue to follow your page.

Again and again and again. How many instances of criminal harassment now?
But NO, she was made aware of the website REPEATEDLY beginning February 14, 2019 and she replied to the emails that advised her of the website. So she has lied again. But to what end? What does she hope to gain by this nonsense? Is lying something she cannot help herself from doing? Like a nervous tick? --Looks like Lauren A. Chamberlain is trying to Smollett me. And how's Smollett doing right now? I caution Chamberlain to stop, take a deep breath, and consider what lying to a judge can do to her life. They call it perjury and a few other things. Even if a local prosecutor won't take on a perjury charge, it can be sued for in civil court as an attempt to strip the victim of his/her civil rights. If some idiot attorney has advised her to file a "protection order" against an individual who (a) has never made the slightest threat to Chamberlain or anyone around her (except to file civil suit and criminal charges), and (b) lives 8000 miles away, and (c) hasn't been in the USA for the better part of a decade, and (d) has no plans to ever return to the USA (every time I think about it, I am reminded of the stink of too many objectionable Americans, just like this business), and (d) has no history of aggression, and no criminal history AT ALL (oops, I caught a fish out of season forty years ago) -- that "attorney" can be held liable as well. I submit that Chamberlain should be extra careful to tape record every conversation with her attorney, because if he/she has advised this woman to make up more lies and file such an action based on those lies, I will go after Lauren A, Chamberlain for frivolously attempting to strip me of my civil rights, and Lauren would then have an actionable cause against any attorney who advised that. I urge caution here, but of course Chamberlain, smartest person in ANY room, will ignore this advice, and so will her attorney, because attorneys generally don't give a rat's ass if they give GOOD advice to a client; they only care about giving advice to a client that results in greater friction because, after all, increasing friction puts money in their pockets. I've seen this phenomenon play out a hundred times in lawyer "assisted" divorce proceedings. I was so lucky in life to never have to go through one. I suggest Lauren A. Chamberlain invest her time, money and energy, instead, in a competent conflict resolution specialist. I have a lifelong friend, from First grade, who happened to be overweight. He took a literal beating for his entire school life from the idiot punks and bullies. I witnessed it on several occasions and to my undying discredit I never stepped in to help him. That one shortcoming makes me a pretty worthless human being. In any case, he went to university and, among other things, earned a degree in conflict resolution; now that's a big portion of his life's work and God bless him for it. Such an entity could probably wrap this up in three days. A sleazy lawyer will struggle to keep it going for YEARS, as long as the money keeps flowing into their pockets from a gullible client. But wrapping this up isn't what Chamberlain wants. She craves the friction, as witnessed by her incessant insulting emails AFTER she was advised she was committing crimes with each one.

TO POSTNET / ANYTIME:
Cease and desist. Previously, you were advised, twice, in writing, that further communication from you to me would be considered instance(s) of criminal harassment. You ignored those directives twice -- now three times. For the record, once again, cease and desist contacting me for any reason at any time via any means. I view you as quite insane. If, indeed, you filed for a protection order, then you have broken the first rule of that order, namely, to not have contact with the other party. Again, I see you as the instigator of numerous problems, and I believe you are quite insane. You may file anything you want, and tell the judge you are scared of anything you want. You may endeavor to convince a judge you are scared of the very air, if that is your desire. But one thing you cannot do, and must not do, is contact me again. It seems you simply cannot stop, because it is your desire and your life mission to continue to inflame this situation. And this communication, too, shall be submitted to the courts. Now, cease and desist; this is the third time I have advised you of this. I now have enough documentation to file with the Ormsby county prosecutor for criminal harassment. Cease and desist. (Posted publicly on 2-22-2019)

So far she has stopped. But I'm betting not for long. When she starts up again, we'll add it to the list of instances of criminal harassment and ask for prosecution.

So.... there you have it. Postnet.com, under the direction of Lauren A. Chamberlain, and Anytimemailbox.com is a damned nightmare of incompetence, lies, unprofessionalism, and criminal harassment. And she has the BALLS to say she is filing a protection order against me. Now the proverbial sh-t hits the fan. One word: Smollett.

I wondered if there would be a need for me to apologize, once I got the emails all into order, in context. In fact, yes, I do apologize. I could have been nicer in the beginning; I could have given them more slack to get their acts together. Of course it would have turned out exactly the same way. But I should have been nicer in the beginning. But once they began lying, the gloves should have been off. In the end, after the lies started, I should have been nastier.

Now the process of researching an attorney begins.

UPDATE February 23, 2019:

This was sent to me and I include it here because it's germaine to the issue of unreliable third party mail services across the country. It is a real review from a person I don't know. It's a typical review of "virtual mailbox services" according to my research, and it's closely in-line with my own experiences, and with the experiences of countless thousands of others:

I used anytimemailbox for the scanning capabilities and because I did not want to use my home address for my business. It was within my budget so I went with it. The first issue I had was when I was told documents had been scanned but 4 days passed and nothing was opened, so I called anytime mailbox and they told me 'you have to call the mailbox operator we just provide the service', so...why isn't that number posted anywhere there for me? So I call the number and I get a very rude man when I ask him a question, the first question was about mail being forwarded and if it would still arrive to them; he was very rude. The second time I had to call it was about why my mail hadn't been scanned in 4 days once again -- he was very rude, he said "What mail" and made me feel like I had called the wrong number, like do you guys accept mail did i dial the wrong number? And then finally said well I need the mailbox number, so I gave it to him. But then he said well we never even received any request that you said open and scan the document, and was just verbally rude with me the entire time. So finally I hang up and I open the app and see it says completed but the scan is still there as unopened. I'm frustrated and I call back and I ask them why it says that he starts yelling/raising his voice going I JUST SCANNED THE DOCUMENTS!!!! I don't like conflict and I work in customer service so I understand it gets frustrating but answering the phone and immediately being verbally aggressive and yelling -- not appropriate. So I felt this was unwarranted. I was using only the app at the time but learned that on the website documents load differently but on the app there is a tiny button you have to click in the top right corner to see them and that was 'my mistake', when I said I'm using the app he said WELL I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE APP USE THE WEBSITE. And so I did, and figured out myself what the mishap was. I've made mistakes in the past and have been corrected by customer service but not yelled at, and then I'd go, oh I see this now I'm sorry for that. But this man right from the beginning began yelling. Then I noticed that only PART of my document had been scanned in and half of it was covered on the last page looking cut off and after the terrible rude experience I started to feel anxious about calling back. So I decided, I will contact customer support and begin the process of finding a new address elsewhere. Because I run a business there is a fee to change my address with the state and I have to find a whole new mailbox; I'm not sure it will help if I find an alternative anytimemailbox or if I'll face the same problem with another mailbox operator but I'm not happy with the experience and think I will just spend more money elsewhere. I'm so frustrated beyond words that I spend $120+ / year for a service that mistreats and talks down to me whenever I encounter a problem.

I spent decades working with customers Online. I don't generally like customers. Often they're just crazy nut-balls who should be swatted away like flies. But often, too, the customer is actually RIGHT. Like this time with PostNet.com. On those occasions when the customer was RIGHT and I was WRONG, I apologized profusely, publicly, and profoundly and I really meant it. I hate, loathe and detest bad businesses, and by God I vowed to never be one. If I screwed up an order, I usually did the following: I apologized publicly Online and I meant it. I instantly refunded the price of their order. I re-made their order, correctly this time, that same day (sometimes I stayed up most of the night to accomplish it), and I shipped out TWO orders, not just the one they had asked for. I shipped it out for free, via an overnight service. I actually and literally did this every single time when "I" screwed up an order. THAT is called good business. Actually, it's NOT "good" business. It's still BAD business, because, in the end, I still screwed up someone's order. By refunding and delivering two new orders I didn't turn it into "good" business; I just made amends as best I could for BAD business. Maybe I ended up, in those rare instances, being a "neutral" business.

Are you OK being treated like what you read in the email thread above? I can honestly say, and I've sat here and run through my long list of friends and business associates -- I can honestly say I don't know a single person over about 20 who would roll over for this sheer and utter bullshit. As we all go through life we inevitably are presented with unpleasant people and unpleasant actions directed toward us. We ignore them where and when we can, because to respond to every mental case we encounter would keep us busy 24/7. We ignore them when we can -- we just keep walking, eyes down, mouth shut. And when we can't ignore them, we interact as little as possible in order to just get safely away from them and continue with the positive things in our lives. But every once in awhile, someone or some group as stunningly outrageous as PostNet.com and anytimemailbox.com and Lauren A. Chamberlain comes along, and treats us badly, and then worse, and then stomps on our head, and wastes our time and takes our money and tries and succeeds to screw up the normal flow of our lives -- and then they try to play the victim -- and that's too much. No one I know would roll over for that crap, and I honestly would not ever want to know anyone, as a friend, co-worker, business associate, or family member, who would lay down and let scum-suckers like these roll over them. I would unfriend such a friend. The behavior shown above is just too much to walk away from. Will I ever cool down about this episoide of insanity? I want a heartfelt apology. I want compensation for my time. I want my missing mail and credit cards back. I want a list of mail they either destroyed or sent back to the sender. I want a promise that they'll try vastly harder to never do this to anyone again. And I want a written guarantee that these miserable sons of bitches will get out, and stay out, of my life in all ways, including sending me stupid, insulting emails, forevermore. Then I'll begin to cool down. I may get the money. But I'll never get the other things. That means I won't be cooling down anytime soon. I left America mostly because of sh--holes like this. I was sick to death of them. But even here, in another bloody hemisphere, I end up subjected to this BS -- not from the people around me, but from the very, very few Americans I am still stuck dealing with. I have virtually zero problems with SE Asians (knock on wood). They're reasonable. And one hell of a lot more pleasant to be around than damned farangs. I will never put up with being treated like Postnet and Anytimemailbox have treated me, nor should you. Never. No sir, no ma'am, that's enough.

UPDATE February 24, 2019:

Probably no updates for awhile as I am back to "the bush" on the border (Cambodia Laos -- pronounced Camboosha and Lao here). I hate the bush but I love the kids. I'd give my life for these kids -- but hopefully not by Cobra bite! If I had the money of Gates I'd buy every one of them a home and a University education and security teams to protect them from the animals that caused them to be orphans. But I don't have that money -- what little I have keeps getting pissed away to shysters like PostNet.com and Anytimemailbox.com and their lying, conniving minions. In any case, I'll certainly continue to evolve this website on the laptop and will upload all new additions in five to seven weeks -- or sooner if I can get a glimpse of Internet access. Do NOT be tempted to think this site is finished or has been abandon -- far from it. Based on new, putrid, dishonest, possibly purjurious (yes, yes, it's not a real word but I like it anyway) and dishonorable stunts by Lauren A. Chamberlain, I am just getting started. Repeat: I am just getting started. Would Lauren like to pour even more gasoline on this fire? Go for it. Why not cause this website to become bigger and bigger and bigger for your friends at PostNet.com and Anytimemailbox.com. I'm sure they'll appreciate the trouble you continue to instigate for them. One of the items on my chore list on this recent trip back home to Thailand was to obtain a simple mailbox in the USA. I remain forever stunned that despite all the efforts you can see on the email page of this website, this easy task was not attainable, due only to the stupidity, dishonesty, laziness, unprofessionalism and incompetence of a handful of people working under the umbrella of PostNet.com and Anytimemailbox.com. I suggest to both these entities that vastly better vetting is required before selling a franchise. But of course they would probably sell a franchise to OJ Simpson if he had the bucks. Bye for now folks -- I'm off to an infinitely more pleasant and logical world, at least for awhile.
